Announcement!
Art gallery & Exhibition - Friday, May 5, 2017
We are thrilled to announce that the works of masters such as Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet and Wassily Kandinsky, as interpreted by the students in our Montessori Extended-Day programme, will be displayed within our 'art gallery' from 5:30 pm on Friday, May 5, 2017. You are cordially invited to attend. Finger food and beverages will be available as refreshments.
This is an event not to be missed. You are reminded, however, of parking limitations in our compound, and the need to ensure that our roadway and access to neighbours compounds are unhindered. The playground may be used with adult supervision. We look forward to seeing you for an evening of art appreciation, good conversation, and cordiality.

SECURITY: we reiterate this and once again ask for your co-operation.
Keeping the safety and security of your child paramount, we have asked all persons (parents, grandparents, caregivers) who routinely collect children from the school to display the ID Tags that we have issued. Please ensure this practice to help us proceed with timely dismissals.
Please contact the school office immediately if you do not have an ID tag, or have misplaced it. Thank you.

26 GRADUATION
We hold graduation ceremonies, in May or June and November or December each year, for children who leave us for primary (grade) school. The criteria for receiving a graduation certificate and (graduating) photo albums are:
· Completion of three years* of Montessori education with us (we do consider the time children spend in other AMI affiliated/recognized school in the case of transferring students) and;
· Proof of admission to Primary (Grade) school after the above and, immediately after leaving us.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. A Year is defined as One School Year, according to our School calendar or, from the commencement of Term II in a School Year, through to the end of Term I of the following School Year tantamount to one calendar year.
2. The above tenure should be in a Montessori CASA environment (2 ½ to 6+ Years).
3. If a child has completed two years or more with us, but less than 3 years, (we do consider the time the children have spent in other AMI affiliated/recognised school in the case of transferring students), and could offer proof of admission to primary (grade) school after the above and, is to enter primary school immediately after leaving us, he/she will be presented with a Certificate of Attendance and invited to the Graduation Ceremony.
The above criteria must be met in full for a child to be eligible to graduate from
MFC Kindergarten (Singapore).
